Apply for FTSP Fingerprinting Services
The Flight Training Security Program (FTSP) is supported by TSA’s enrollment provider for fingerprint capture services as part of the application process.
All FTSP candidates must begin their application at: www.fts.tsa.dhs.gov before they can be fingerprinted or participate in flight training. Once the application and fingerprinting is complete, TSA will determine a candidate’s eligibility to participate in flight training with an FAA-regulated flight training provider.
Flight Training Security Program (FTSP) candidates must begin the application process at www.fts.tsa.dhs.gov before they can be fingerprinted or participate in flight training. Once at the fingerprinting stage of the application process, the candidate must bring the following document(s) to the enrollment center for fingerprinting:
- A printed copy of the fingerprint instructions email; and all the documents listed on the fingerprint instruction email, which may include one or more of the following:
- The candidate’s passport(s) that match the identity provided in the fingerprint instructions;
- The candidate’s US visa(s) that match the identity provided in the fingerprint instructions;
- The candidate’s Permanent Resident Card that matches the identity provided in the fingerprint instructions;
- The candidate’s Employment Authorization Document that matches the identity provided in the fingerprint instructions;
- U.S. Driver’s License that matches the identity provided in the fingerprint instructions (if asylum seeker or refugee).
Please note: The candidate must provide the documents listed above in order to be fingerprinted. Candidate data must match exactly the data provided to TSA at www.fts.tsa.dhs.gov, and as shown on the Fingerprint Instructions email.
